Secure Client Portal for Accounting Firms Stop chasing clients over email.
Give every client a secure portal where they see their own engagements, upload the documents you asked for, review what they owe and message you — instead of a thread with twelve attachments.
What a client can do without emailing you
The portal is not a document drop. It is the client-facing half of the same records your staff work in, which is why it stays current without anyone updating it.
See their engagements
Every job the firm is running for them, with its current stage and progress — no status-update email required.
Fulfil document requests
The specific documents you asked for, with due dates, tracked to Pending, Partially Fulfilled or Fulfilled as they upload.
Upload their own files
Anything else they want the firm to have, filed into their folder rather than buried in an inbox.
View invoices and statements
Invoices, quotes and account statements, visible only once the underlying transaction reaches a client-visible status.
See what they owe
Current balance and payment history per invoice, so the chase email stops being a monthly ritual.
Accept or decline quotes
Accept while the quote is sent and in date; accepted quotes convert to an invoice on your side.
Message the firm
Threaded two-way messaging with attachments, kept against the client record instead of one person’s mailbox.
The boundaries the portal holds
A client-facing surface is only as good as what it refuses to show. These constraints are enforced by the application.
A client can only see and act on their own records — portal access is scoped to the one linked contact.
Portal sign-in requires a single-use six-digit email code, valid for ten minutes.
Firm-generated documents appear only when the underlying transaction is in a client-visible status; drafts and voided items are hidden.
Clients can delete only documents they uploaded themselves.
Infected or quarantined files are never served to clients.
Internal notes are visible only to firm staff and never appear in the portal.
Email verification is mandatory before a portal account becomes usable.
What it removes from your week
Most of what a practice calls admin is chasing, re-sending and answering the same question. The portal absorbs the bulk of it.
The chase email
Document requests carry due dates and flag themselves overdue. The status is visible without anyone asking.
The re-send
Invoices, quotes and statements live in the portal. There is no attachment to find and forward again.
The "where are we?" call
Clients see their engagements and stages themselves, so progress questions largely stop being asked.
The balance question
Clients see what is outstanding themselves, against the same ledger your team works from.
The lost thread
Messages sit against the client record, so cover during leave does not mean forwarding a mailbox.
